A complete list makes a smoother job.

A few details help us quote the right system. Use this checklist before sending your material request.

Coil, footage & thickness.

Include the gutter profile, coil width, thickness, color and quantity. Our standard K-style coil requests include 11.75″ width for 5″ systems and 15″ width for 6″ systems, with .027″ and .032″ aluminum options. Confirm the coil specification required by your machine.

Example material request: 150 ft of 15″ wide, .032″ aluminum coil in Black, for a 6″ K-style system.

Choose feet, pounds or full coils in the product options. If you want a full coil, add the approximate weight you’re looking for in the request notes. Thickness, width and finish affect material weight; full-coil weights and final quantities are confirmed with your quote.

For formed gutter, list the individual run lengths rather than only a total footage. Include profile, finish, miters and left/right end caps.

Downspouts & elbow orientation.

Include the downspout cross-section and length, such as 3×4 in 10 ft lengths. Count A and B elbows separately: A elbows turn to the front of the drop; B elbows turn to the side. Include the angle if you need a shallow offset or specialty turn.

Check your outlet, straps, clips and drain adapters against the drop size. If you’re matching existing parts, describe the dimensions or send the specific part information when we follow up.

Example request: six 3×4 downspouts in 10 ft lengths, twelve 3×4 A elbows and six 3×4 B elbows, all in Black.

Match the whole system.

Start with the exact color name. Similar names such as Dark Gray and Charcoal Gray describe different finishes. Screens display colors differently; confirm the actual finish with a physical sample before ordering.

Our swatch grid is a browsing aid. A selected color applies to the material request and does not confirm stock or that every size and accessory is offered in that color. We’ll review the complete list.

For copper, Kynar, commercial profiles and specialty materials, include the manufacturer finish, profile, thickness, dimensions and any project specification.

The last check before you send.

Coil or formed gutter, with gauge, width and quantities.
Downspouts, A/B elbows, outlets and straps or clips.
Hangers, end caps, miters, fasteners, sealant and protection.
Color names, special specifications and individual run lengths.
Fulfillment preference, job town and requested timing.
